1. Company Information

This Privacy Policy is published by Missed Call Audit ("we," "us," or "our"), the owner and operator of the Missed Call Audit platform available at missedcallaudit.com.

The registered brand name under which these services are offered is Missed Call Audit, operated at the domain missedcallaudit.com.

Missed Call Audit provides a service operations platform for home service businesses, including call tracking, lead management, job dispatch, invoicing, and automated missed-call SMS recovery.

Technology Platform / Service Provider. Missed Call Audit acts as a technology platform and service provider that enables participating businesses to send customer communications via Twilio-powered messaging infrastructure. Each participating business is the messaging brand and sender of record for communications sent to its own customers; Missed Call Audit provides the underlying automation, subaccount provisioning, and compliance infrastructure. Missed Call Audit is not the direct messaging brand for communications sent by a business to that business's own customers.

For any questions about this policy or our data practices, contact us at info@missedcallaudit.com.

2. Information We Collect

When you use the Missed Call Audit platform, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, including your business name, contact name, email address, industry, phone number, and call/revenue data. This data is used to generate your personalized revenue diagnostic report and to operate your account.

When a person calls a business phone number managed through our platform, we collect the caller's phone number, call timestamp, and call duration for the purpose of missed-call recovery and lead tracking.

Customer phone numbers originate from inbound calls placed directly to the participating business. Missed Call Audit does not acquire, purchase, scrape, or use third-party marketing lists of phone numbers. Missed Call Audit may process messaging data (including phone numbers, SMS content, and consent records) on behalf of its business customers solely to provide the contracted platform services and to operate the missed-call recovery infrastructure. In this capacity, Missed Call Audit acts as a service provider/processor on behalf of the participating business, which is the controller of its own customer data.

No phone numbers are submitted through our website. Customers do not enter their mobile number on MissedCallAudit.com. A customer's mobile phone number is obtained only when they voluntarily initiate an inbound call to a participating business's phone number. The inbound call itself is the affirmative action that establishes the customer's interest and consent to be contacted.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, financial account information, or data beyond what is required to operate the platform and generate diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Generate your personalized missed call revenue diagnostic
  • Operate your account, including call tracking, lead management, and job dispatch
  • Send automated SMS messages to your customers when their calls are missed (see Section 4)
  • Send you your analysis results and any purchased reports via email
  • Send a follow-up email sequence related to your diagnostic (you may unsubscribe at any time)
  • Contact you regarding your Live Revenue Audit session if purchased

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

SMS Data. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent data are not sold, shared, rented, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for missed-call recovery are used solely to send the recovery message and to honor opt-out requests, and are not shared with or sold to any third party.

4. SMS Text Messaging

Consent and Opt-In. Customers opt in by calling the business phone number. The inbound phone call is the affirmative action that demonstrates the customer's interest and consent to be contacted. In many cases, customers also leave a voicemail describing their needs, which further confirms their intent. When a call is missed, the system automatically sends an SMS reply as a direct response to the customer's inbound call (and any voicemail left). No messages are sent to people who have not first called the business.

Consent Language. The following disclosure applies to inbound callers: "By calling this number, you agree that the business may contact you by SMS regarding your inquiry, including if we miss your call. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."

Message Content. The SMS identifies the business by name, acknowledges that the call was missed, and includes a link where the caller can submit their service request. No marketing or promotional content is sent via SMS — only a single service-recovery follow-up per missed call.

Message Frequency. Message frequency varies. Typically, one (1) SMS message is sent per missed call, in direct response to the customer's inbound call. No recurring, scheduled, periodic, or promotional messages are sent via SMS.

Opt-Out. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out of receiving future SMS messages. Once opted out, no further SMS messages will be sent to that number. Recipients can reply HELP for assistance.

Message and Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. The platform does not charge recipients for SMS messages; standard carrier messaging rates apply.

Data Sharing. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent data are not sold, shared, rented, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS recovery are used solely to send the recovery message and to honor opt-out requests.

ISV / Reseller Architecture. Each participating business is provisioned with its own dedicated Twilio subaccount, phone number, Messaging Service, and applicable A2P 10DLC registration. The service business is the messaging brand and sender of record; Missed Call Audit provides the underlying automation and infrastructure as a technology platform/service provider. Twilio is used as the carrier infrastructure under an ISV (Independent Software Vendor) reseller arrangement: MCA Parent Account → ISV Primary Compliance Profile → Client Subaccount → Client Secondary Compliance Profile → Client A2P Brand → Client Campaign → Client Messaging Service → Client Dedicated Number. STOP/HELP, opt-out suppression, and consent records are enforced for each business's subaccount.

7. Payments

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Missed Call Audit does not store or have access to your card details. For Stripe's privacy practices, see stripe.com/privacy.
